After Lake Mountain, Mare is probably the smallest piece I have in the shop. There was remnants of an orange Zellers tag on the back of this, so while not being handmade or one-of-a-kind, this is a nice statement piece that can tuck in a weird and hard to fill crevice of a gallery wall or sit with you at your work desk.
Judging by the quality of wood (and condition of sticker residue) I would bet this was made and originally sold sometime in the 70's or 80's.
