The story...in short.

During the pandemic I started amassing a tonne of wall art and decor. I picked up anything that looked like there was a story or lived experience behind it. Be it a hand created item or something that was recieved as a gift. I then found myself with way too much art and too little wall space. After working in retail environments void of personal touch and the items I was drawn to, I combined the knowledge I gained over years in the industry to create a webshop called Time Passages, where I would write micro-essays and research personal histories of the pieces. I launched the site and had minor, but 'enough to make it worthwhile' sales when the U.S Tariff nonsense began. It quickly became a loss to ship ANYTHING to the United States, especially given the size of many of the pieces. I then quickly took ethical issue with the webshops host, Shopify and completely nuked the website.

I was slowly building it back up from scratch when I just realised it could no longer work the inital way I wanted it to. So the project faded as others appeared in my life. For now, I'm clearing out much of the stock. I have listed art under three price tiers, no taxes, no shipping. Every piece is available for pickup at my West End Guelph location.

If you see a piece you want, shoot me an E-mail at timepassageshop@gmaill.com and we'll arrange something!
