Wool Cabin

I'll be honest with you when I say this is a bit of a bizarre piece. It's quite large and obviously a fairly amateur attempt at wool rug hooking, and it's also been framed in this heavy black frame. There's an inscription on the back that reads "To Mom and Dad 1998" which potentially sits the person who originally made this in the same age bracket as I am. I can't imagine making this piece for my parents when I was an adolescent, but I believe that's half the charm. The other half is of course day dreaming of being out somewhere in this magical wool cabin, warm and cozy as the last few months of the year set in. Hypothetically of course. I don't think you'd want to live in a cabin made of wool.
