Josh is a interesting original Oil on Canvas piece, with a great wood frame seemingly  depicting a Joshua Tree. A small signature in the right corner lists Ellen J Rhodes as the artist, with an accompanied date that I unfortunately cannot make out. It's either 1913 (v. unlikely), 1973 (maybe) or 1993 (my guess)

No obvious results appear when I search for the artist online so it's safe to assume this was a strictly hobby or academic project piece, nonetheless, I love the colours of the sky and get deep cravings (like for a pizza) but for another lazy desert night with a view like this.

Sometimes when I am in ultra-daydream mode, I look at property elsewhere. Nowhere super specific as I'm not really in any market to purchase real estate at the moment, but I'll search for property that becomes available near where I grew up, I'll look at what homes are going for in the Annex neighborhood I spent some of my favourite city years residing in (🤯) but mostly, I look throughout the south west.

In a dream where time moves backwards, and as I age I get to experience the tenties again, then the aughts, then the nineties and the eighties and If I'm lucky, maybe wrinkle up in the 70's, I'd love to do it in the south west and get all leathery. I use the app Trulia (not an ad) to view real estate (and rental) listings in the United States. I have a "Saves" list of homes that contain Joshua Trees on the property, from the Yucca Valley south. I'll often browse these listings while I'm in bed trying to get to sleep and rarely, when favourable conditions arise, I find myself in this setting within a dream.
