Golden Horses

This is another top five find I grabbed and the 2nd hardest piece for me to decide to sell (I won't tell you the first!). Beautiful equine embroidery with a stunning glass and gold finish frame. Very fine work depicts this pair either trotting or galloping.

I looked up the difference because at first, I didn't know there was one, but I know some people go bananas over horses (they're fascinating creatures) and might feel some sort of personal disappointment in me if I mis-identified the movement in this gorgeous piece, so I did the due-diligence and even after that, I still can't confirm if either of these horses (the plural of Horse should follow the same unwritten rule of pluralizing "Vinyl", by the way) have all four hooves off the ground. 

I then looked up trotting, and by definition, both of these horses seem to be doing everything but trotting. The background horse looks as though it's trying to claim as much ground as possible around it, like when you are a child and you try to claim your section of a room, while the horse in front is doing some sort of wild crab-style run. It's very possible if this were a moving image of sorts, some sort of Embroidered GIF, that horse may be moving sideways, like a frightened cat.

Nonetheless, a beautiful piece of two golden horses that are neither galloping nor trotting, but doing something magic instead, and it would look stunning in your den, above your bed, in your work-from-home office, or as a feature piece on the ranch.
